Call doesn't ring Android phone

If you are an Android phone user and your app doesn't ring when call button is pressed, please check the following settings.

1. Login to your dbell video doorbell via a Browser.

How to login using a browser? Read here

• Go to settings (click Wrench icon).
• Click Device Information
• Check WebUI version >> Device Embeded Web UI Version = 8.10.1.7

If your Web UI Version is lower than 8.10.1.7 -> Please update your firmware.

 2. Check the the following Android phone settings:

• Open Android settings
• Apps & Notifications
• Select dbell app
• App permissions

Turn on the following:

• Camera
• Location
• Microphone
• Phone
• Storage

Next

Open App notifications

Make sure all services are on. E.g.,

dbell channel=ON

Foreground service channel=ON

Next

Under Advanced >> Display over other apps make it Allowed 

To test, open dbell app

Keep app on the foreground and push dbell call button. It will ring

To test while phone is on sleep >> Put phone to sleep mode

Push dbell call button. It will wake up your phone and ring

Do not close the dbell app. Keep the App running on the background if you want to receive the call on your Android device.
