Video settings should only be changed by the professional. We recommend to keep the default video settings unless you are a video pro.
Video settings
Video format:
- 50Hz: Vertical Frequency 50Hz / PAL
- 60Hz: Vertical Frequency 60Hz / NTSC
Video Coding:
- Baseline: Baseline is suitable for low delay
- Main profile: Main profile provides better image quality.
- High profile:
Resolution:
- Main stream: 1920 x 1080p or 1280 x 720p
- Secondary stream: a) 640 x 352p b) 320 x 176p
- Third stream: 320 x 176p
Bit rate: 32-6144 kbps
Maximum frame rate: 1 to 30fps. Lower frame rate is better in poor Network condition.
Key frame interval: 2-150
Bit rate control:
- CBR: CBR adopts constant encoding bitrate
- VBR: VBR adopts variable encoding bitrate
Image quality:
- 1: Best image quality
- 6: Lowest image quality
OSD(On Screen Display) options:
- Display time: Enable/Disable
- Time display location: Location of time stamp - a) Upper Left b) Upper Right c) Lower Left d) Lower Right
- Show camera name: Enable/Disable
- Camera name location: a) Top left b) Top right c) Bottom left d) Bottom right
- Camera name: A name assigned to your camera, like South camera, North camera
Video parameters:
- Brightness: Default value 50
- Saturation: Default value 0
- Contrast: Default value 60
- Sharpness: Default value 70
- Exposure: Default value 44
- Gamma: Default value 3
- Distortion: Default value 0
Flip: Flip video vertically
Mirror: Mirror video horizontally
WDR: Set WDR ON or OFF. WDR enhances the image quality in bright light source (sunlight, lamps or reflectors, etc.) , shadow of high-brightness, backlight.
AEmode:
- Auto, Default setting is recommended.
- Indoor
- Outdoor
Image mode:
- Frame rate
- Illuminance, Default setting is recommended.
IR LED Control:
- Auto, Default setting is recommended.

Shutter: 1 to 10000, Default setting is recommended.
IR Cut: 1-1024, Higher value faster switching time. Default setting is recommended.
Noise: 0-100, Lower value reduces most noise. Default setting is recommended.
Audio Settings
Audio Compression Type: Audio compression format:G 711, G 726
Audio settings: On or Off. Turn on or Turn off audio of IP camera. For audio to work, external speaker and Mic is required to be hooked up. If audio is not required Turn off audio to save DSP and network resources. Audio is disabled by default.
Audio Input Type: MIC or Line In
Input Volume: Adjust the Mic volume.
Output Volume: Adjust the Speaker volume.
